The Santa Experience is a magical 20-minute session which begins long before your children arrive at the studio.

Prior to the session your child will receive a personalized letter from Saint Nick himself with an invitation to meet him right here in his kitchen!

Once your child arrives at the studio, they will be greeted by Santa and invited to join him in the kitchen and get the cookie baking process started.

Santa will tell them stories about the reindeer and ask them what they want for Christmas. Your child may even bring their own wishlist, and then the fun begins.

Santa will engage your child(ren) in various storybook activities to bring about genuine expressions. Together, the children will help Santa roll out dough and cut the cookies into different shapes! Santa will even pray over the cookies with the children, as they learn about the true meaning of Christmas! Next comes the sprinkle magic flour, and then it's time to enjoy the cookies after all that hard work, with a glass of milk! Santa may even make a special call to the North Pole to speak to your child's "elf on the shelf". Most of all, Santa will provide your child with an experience of a lifetime.

HOW IT WORKS: COVID COMPLIANT SESSIONS

This year is going to look very different than previous years mini sessions due to Covid-19.

That's okay though because we have talked with Santa and strategized a solution that is safer for all of our clients.

How is this is year different?

We will offer ONLY four sessions per week.

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening from now until December 10th Santa will be in our studio. Which means our availability will be super limited.

Children will not sit with Santa, rather Santa will stand behind them (Santa and/or children can wear a mask if preferred)

Our staff will remain contactless with the client and will keep 6' distance at all times.

All props will be sanitized prior to your arrival

Limit to one adult attending per child being photographed (adults, mask required)

If you or anyone in your family has run a fever in 7 days prior to your scheduled appointment or if you or anyone in your family has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 we kindly request you give us a call to reschedule your appointment.

When you arrive we kindly request you remain in your car, call to let us know you have arrived, we will ensure we have on the appropriate PPE and let you know when it is safe to enter into the studio.

Upon entering the studio we kindly request you wash your hands and we will do the same.

After your session has been completed your viewing appointment will take place via zoom.

Experience Faq's

How long is the experience?: THE EXPERIENCE SHOULD LAST NO LONGER THAN 25 MINUTES FROM HELLO TO GOODBYE
Will I get a refund if I need to cancel due to illness, death or uncooperative children?: Calling Santa down from the North Pole takes lots of planning and deposits; therefore, we are not able to offer refunds or transfers for this experience. However, you are welcome to sell or gift your session to a friend or family member. You will be responsible for the sale. Once you sell your spot, call or email the studio with that friend or family members information.

What happens if my child doesn't like Santa and cries?: We begin the session with Santa tucked away out of the child's sight. Santa will then quietly come into the background of the image. This allows for festive images of your child playing and joyful in the event they see the jolly man in red and become upset.

Preparing for the future in the event this happens I suggest parents come dressed for portraits. Sometimes small children do better with love from mommy and/ or daddy. Crying photos are not as bad as you think and quite often create lots of joy as you look back on them.
Can my child's cousin and/or friend take some pictures as well?: Each session time is set aside for immediate family only. If you would like portraits of your children and their cousins or friends, they must book a session for themselves as well. When they book their session, I will book both sessions back to back to capture a few images of them together. Parents are welcome to join at the end of the session for a family portrait with Santa.
Can I just get digital images?: Absolutely. We will offer a small pack of digital images starting at $150.
What is the turnaround time?: Your images will be ready to view within 7 days after our session. Once you select the images that come with your session, final images will be ready within 12-14 days. If magic is added to your images, or a storybook is ordered allow an addition 7-10 days.
Can you hold a spot for me?: I am unable to hold session times without payment of the experience booking fee.

What type of posing is used?: This session is all about capturing your child's expression as they spend time with Santa. Most, if not all, images will be focused on interaction and moments, rather than looking at the camera and saying "cheese". We will capture an image or two of everyone looking at the camera but 95% of the images will showcase moments spent with Santa
