IS THE DISC OF HIGH-RESOLUTION PHOTOS INCLUDED?
Yes, all of my wedding collections include the high-resolution files with a print release!
DO WE RECEIVE THE COPYRIGHT?
I retain the copyright. However, with the high-resolution images, you are welcome to print your own photos and you will receive a print release. You can also post your photos online as long as you provide a link to my website or give me credit.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
Typically, I give my clients between 75 and 100 photos per hour of shooting. For an 8-hour wedding, you can expect to receive 600-800 photos.
ARE ALL THE PHOTOS EDITED?
Yes, all final images are processed, and color corrected.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE OUR PHOTOS?
Wedding day proofs are ready to see in an online gallery within 2-6 weeks depending on the time of the year. The online proofing system allows you to order prints and other products and share your photos with your family and friends.
WHY SHOULD I ORDER PRODUCTS FROM YOU IF I CAN PRINT THEM MYSELF FOR LESS?
The difference in ordering prints from me and a consumer brand printing company is that I use a professional quality photo lab. I have done my research to find the best quality printer so I can offer the highest quality products to my clients. The lab I use only works with photography businesses and charges more per print than the consumer brand because the quality is top-notch. The ink and archival paper last longer. The colors are printed accurately and with more detail. Especially if you order prints for an album, larger prints, prints to be framed, or canvases I would definitely suggest ordering them through me.
WHAT KIND OF ALBUMS DO YOU OFFER?
I offer flush-mount albums. These wedding albums come in gorgeous custom covers in a variety of amazing colors and they are expertly hand-crafted. These albums make a wonderful family heirloom and are a beautiful way to display your wedding day memories. I personally custom design each album with your favorite photos from your wedding day and work with you one-on-one to select a cover option.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY ENGAGEMENT OR BRIDAL SESSION WITH YOU?
We will have fun! The best photos look natural, like everyone is having a great time. The best way to achieve that look is to have a great time! It’s simple. Even if you are camera shy, I will make it easy for you to relax and enjoy your session.
WHAT TYPE OF CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use state-of-the-art Nikon professional equipment. My main camera is a Nikon D810 which provides stunning clarity and color and allows you to enjoy high quality enlargements for wedding albums and photo prints. I also carry with me two backup cameras, a Nikon D600 and a Nikon D3100. I also use top-quality, professional Nikon lenses which allow me to take photographs in even the darkest of churches and wedding reception venues. These lenses are Nikon 35 mm 1.4, Nikon 50mm 1.4, Nikon 85mm 1.4, and Nikon 70-200mm 2.8. I also carry multiple lithium ion batteries, SB900 flash, SB800 flash, tripod, and many MANY memory cards!
DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Absolutely. I always carry backup equipment in case of equipment failure. At a wedding, I have to be prepared for everything since there are no second chances to re-capture the moment.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE WE CAN SEE A SNEAK PEEK OF OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?
I love sneak peeks of wedding photos! I know that you are excited to see them and I try to get a few photos up on facebook either the very next day.
WILL WE RECEIVE EVERY SINGLE PICTURE TAKEN AT OUR WEDDING OR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
No, I don’t provide every single photo I capture from your wedding or engagement session. I edit out the photos where you closed your eyes, weren’t looking or our flash didn’t go off. I want you to look your best, therefore, all of the photographs are carefully selected.
HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO HAVE YOUR SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER THERE?
I love having one of my second photographers there on your big day and I think you will too! The second photographer comes in handy if you are having a large wedding with lots of guests and if there is a lot going on that day. For instance, while I am photographing the bride getting ready, the second photographer could be photographing the groom. While I am taking bridal party pictures, the second photographer can already be at the reception photographing the room set up before guests start to arrive. Most importantly, my second photographers can get a different perspective on your wedding day than I may get which just gives you more beautiful photographs to look through!
